“Agnes is an exciting young songwriter whose deep passion and growing knowledge of the American roots tradition carries into her budding gift for songwriting. Her lyrics are wise beyond her years, her dedication to the craft is inspiring to see, and witnessing her exponential growth over the year I’ve had her a student has been a privilege and a joy”

- Liv Greene, award winning songwriter

Agnes Su constantly impresses me!

For a little over a year I’ve been teaching Agnes fiddle tunes on both the fiddle and on flat picked guitar, and I’m amazed at the speed in which she hears complex melodic phrases and then translates them to her instruments.

As well, it’s been an honor to watch her quickly blossom as a songwriter, putting together very descriptive stories that captivate and draw emotions from her audiences. Her approach to creativity, and to living her life, is that of someone who has done all of this many times before, and is just remembering rather than learning... an old spirit in a new form.

Watch her! She’s going places fast!!
